The Engineering VP’s mission, you will oversee and guide the technical development of our game, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and player experience. You will lead a team of accomplished engineering leaders and collaborate with other departments to deliver the latest game that pushes the boundaries of the platform. You will provide technical expertise, establishing best practices, and driving innovation within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Top-level contributor in architectural strategy for major, complex implementations involving high-volume, globally distributed services.
- Hands-on person leading the team from the front and finding solutions using technology and logical thinking.
- Implement architectural vision that scales for complex game services.
- Collaboratively work with other developers, artists, designers and the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality cross platform mobile solution.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end development architecture, ensuring the code written to implement the architecture and design meets the highest standards regarding code quality and efficiency.
- Estimate engineering effort during multiple stages of product life cycle.
- Track development deliverables and communicate their statuses, risks to global teams.
- You will Exhibit creativity and at while collaborating and working with outstanding designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, architects, and product managers.
- Help us to Resolve technical challenges and performance bottlenecks throughout the development cycle.
- Help us to stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques, and evaluate their potential application in the game development process.
- Conduct regular code and design reviews to maintain consistency across the project.
- Mentor and help grow team members, encouraging a collaborative and thoughtful work environment.
Skill Requirements:
- Experience (10+ years) in game development, with a focus on games or other, action-packed titles.
- Bachelor’s/ master’s degree with 13+ years of experience in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with game engines, optimization techniques, and performance profiling.
- Understanding of Crashlytics and Google Play console
- You are experienced in application development on Mobile platforms, specifically Android and iOS.
- Understanding of Application lifecycle in Mobile platforms, specifically Android and iOS
- In-depth knowledge of third-party SDK integration.
- Understanding of memory management, file systems, multi-threading, and runtime optimization.
